Job summary

Appone is seeking a General Manager for a Dairy Queen location in Meridian, Idaho. You will lead store operations with a strong emphasis on profitability, team development, and guest satisfaction while maintaining a 45-hour workweek and no early mornings or late nights.

Base salary starts at $48,000 per year with monthly and annual performance bonuses bringing total compensation to $66,100 annually. You will have autonomy with direct support from ownership and a focus on a healthy work-life

• 2–4+ years of restaurant General Manager or senior assistant GM experience in a high-volume Quick-Service restaurant
• Demonstrated success controlling labor costs, managing COGS, and reading P&L statements
• Hands-on leadership that motivates a team and handles peak rush hours with composure

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS PACKAGE:

• Base Salary: $48,000 / year
• Monthly Performance Bonus: Up to $1,400 / month ($16,800 annual potential)

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Store Leadership & Team Development: Hire, train, and mentor your management team and crew members. Build an upbeat culture that keeps retention high.
• P&L & Financial Growth: Take ownership of store profitability. Control labor and COGS, manage inventory, and execute strategies to drive sales and check averages.
• Operational Excellence: Maintain top standards for food quality, speed of service, and guest satisfaction during peak lunch and dinner hours.
• Food Safety & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to food safety protocols, local health regulations, and brand execution standards.

Position Requirements Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Proven Management Experience: 2–4+ years as a Restaurant General Manager or Senior Assistant GM in a high-volume restaurant (Quick-Service / QSR strongly preferred).
• Financial Acumen: Demonstrated success controlling labor costs, managing COGS, and reading P&L statements.
• Leadership Drive: A hands-on leader who coaches by example, handles peak rush hours with composure, and knows how to motivate a team.
• Certifications: ServSafe® Manager Certification required (or willing to obtain upon hire).
• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to stand, walk, and lead on the sales floor during peak meal periods.
• Comfortable working in varying kitchen temperature ranges and handling common food allergens (nuts, dairy, etc.).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs during inventory routines.
