Job summary

Zaxby’s Keystone Heights is seeking a General Manager to lead daily restaurant operations and guide a team to deliver great guest experiences. Starting salaries reach up to $60,000 annually, with a quarterly bonus based on performance and profit.

The role focuses on staffing, cost management, sales growth, and upholding brand standards in a Grand Opening setting. Qualifications include 18+ age, 1 year restaurant management, flexible schedule, and completion of required certifications.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 1 year of restaurant management experience (Zaxby’s a plus).
• Available to work a minimum of 5 days and 40 to 50 hours per week.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Successful completion of background check.
• In-store training program completed.
• Online ZFI AM test passed with a 90% or above.
• Phase III GM certification.
• In-store ZFI Kitchen Demonstrative passed with a 90% or above.
• Food Manager Certification.

Responsibilities

• Strive to enhance guest experiences at every opportunity by satisfying and exceeding expectations.
• Increase sales and profit by building community relationships/partnerships and providing outstanding product and service.
• Ensure an effective work schedule is posted each week.
• Demonstrate effective interviewing skills for hiring top performers.
• Responsible for staffing and new hire orientations.
• Ensure training and certification processes are 100% compliant.
• Provide clear development plans and performance reviews for management staff.
• Execute quarterly business plans using systems and manuals.
• Assist Area/Market Development Managers in marketing plans.
• Mentor AM’s in operation of a Zaxby’s unit for future advancement.
• Review daily numbers and coach team results.
• Provide leadership with enthusiasm and a positive attitude toward objectives.
• Maintain flexibility to perform beyond the position description.

General Managers are responsible for providing guidance and leadership to their team to create a positive culture and maintain high team morale. You will execute and assist in developing action plans according to company goals and objectives. You will manage and oversee the restaurant's daily operations, focusing on staffing, team member development, sales growth, cost management, guest experience, and ensuring brand standards are consistently upheld.
