Job summary

Guardian Alarm is seeking a Branch Manager for its Indianapolis office to lead sales, installation, service, retention, and escalation activities. The role emphasizes profitability, cost control, and alignment of departmental goals with overall company objectives on an annual basis.

You will collaborate with staff and department heads to set attainable goals, work with the COO on budgets and performance standards, and conduct regular staff meetings to drive performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry work experience.
  • Experience in sales or operations in a service-based industry.
  • Management and leadership of large cross-functional teams.
  • Proven track record of growing and sustaining a team over an extended period of time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee overall sales, installation, service, retention, and escalations for the Branch office they are assigned to.
  • Oversee the profitability and cost control measures of the Branch while aligning departmental goals with company objectives on a yearly basis.
  • Collaborates with staff and department heads to set reasonable sales and/or operational goals.
  • Collaborates with Chief Operating Officer to set budget and performance standards. Standards may be based on financial and operational goals and required compliance with internal, local, state, and federal policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Conducts regular staff meetings to ensure that goals and objectives are clearly communicated with Branch staff; provides guidance and leadership to enable staff to meet these goals and objectives.
  • Identifies training needs and opportunities; collaborates with Corporate Engagement and Development Specialist to develop and implement a plan for meeting those needs.
  • Maintains and develops positive relationships with existing and prospective clients, demonstrating excellent customer service and setting an example for other staff.
  • Participates in community activities to promote the organization and to build goodwill.
  • Collaborates with other Managers and marketing team members regarding advertising, marketing, and growth campaigns.
  • Creates and or implements programs to improve customer retention and reduce cancellations.
  • Assists with acquisition identification and reviews.
  • Assist in development of annual goals and budgets.
  • Oversee quality of installations and customer cut-ins, including the development of acceptable department policies and procedures to ensure delivery of quality customer satisfaction.
