We are hiring for a full-time manager for our Garland location. This position requires a valid driver's license, a food manager certificate, and at least 3 years of management experience. You must be able to pass a manager certification test after 8 weeks of training.
Some nights and weekends will be required.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Ensure the restaurant is in full compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health regulations, hour and wage regulations, age restrictions, fair employment practices, ADA, OSHA, and other applicable laws.
- Ensure adherence to and enforcement of all Firehouse Subs Policies and Procedures.
- Provide leadership to the restaurant team to meet standards of guest service, quality, and cleanliness, fostering a cheerful and fun work environment aligned with Firehouse Subs culture, beliefs, and values.
- Maintain profitability by managing food costs, labor, utilities, and sales growth within established guidelines.
- Implement current operational plans and company initiatives effectively and promptly.
- Ensure proper staffing with qualified personnel who are trained and developed adequately.
- Oversee the ongoing training and development of Assistant Managers and Shift Managers.
- Participate actively in local restaurant marketing efforts.
- Promote all Public Safety Foundation initiatives.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all required programs, reports, and legal documents.
- Engage in community affairs to leverage sales and public relations opportunities.
- Represent Firehouse Subs professionally and positively at all times.
- Communicate any issues affecting the business to the GM/Owner effectively.
- Maintain restaurant equipment in good working order and report issues immediately.
- Ability to work on your feet for up to 13 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by the Owner.
