Job summary

Raw Selection LTD in the United States is seeking a General Manager to lead our Residential Electrical & Generator Services branch. You will own the full P&L, drive revenue growth, and oversee the sales, installation, and service pipeline to deliver profitability.

The role demands a hands-on, commercially driven leader who can coach teams, manage capacity, and safeguard margins while expanding multiple service lines in a fast-growing, PE-backed platform.

Qualifications

• Proven success as General Manager or senior Operations Manager in residential home services.
• Experience with P&L responsibility for a business generating roughly $5M–$15M in revenue.
• Strong KPI, revenue growth and EBITDA improvement experience.
• Residential electrical and standby-generator experience preferred.
• Experience managing generator installations, permitting, and municipal processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full branch operation across Residential Electrical Services and Power/Generators.
• Own branch P&L, revenue growth, EBITDA improvement, and financial performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to restore top-line growth and profitability.
• Improve call-board utilisation and achieve 100% capacity.
• Lead and coach the sales team to improve conversion and ticket values.

General Manager | Residential Electrical & Generator Services

Salary: $160,000–$175,000 Base + 30–40% Bonus

Responsibilities

• Lead the full branch operation across Residential Electrical Services and Power/Generators.
• Take ownership of branch P&L, revenue growth, EBITDA improvement, and overall financial performance.
• Develop and implement strategies to restore consistent top-line growth and achieve targeted profitability.
• Improve call-board utilisation, targeting 100% of available capacity.
• Lead and coach the sales team, improving conversion rates, average ticket values, and price-objection handling.
• Oversee the generator sales and installation pipeline, including drawings, permitting, installation, and ongoing service.
• Strengthen scheduling, dispatch, capacity planning, and operational execution to minimise delays and cancellations.
• Maintain pricing discipline, protect margins, and monitor material and labour performance.
• Recruit, retain, and develop electricians, generator technicians, and operational personnel.
• Partner closely with the existing Operations Managers to improve accountability and daily performance.
• Coordinate with divisional leadership to increase marketing investment as field capacity expands.
• Establish repeatable operating processes and performance standards to support sustainable branch growth.
• Identify opportunities for additional service-line expansion.

Qualifications

• Proven success as a General Manager, Branch Manager, or senior Operations Manager within residential home services.
• Residential HVAC, Plumbing, or Electrical Services experience required.
• Demonstrated experience managing technicians, dispatch, sales, and daily branch operations.
• Experience overseeing or supporting full P&L responsibility, ideally within a business generating approximately $5M–$15M in revenue.
• Strong understanding of service KPIs, including call-board utilisation, conversion rates, average ticket, labour capacity, and profitability.
• Proven ability to increase revenue, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen EBITDA performance.
• Experience recruiting field technicians and developing high-performing operational teams.
• Strong sales leadership experience, including coaching salespeople and overcoming customer price objections.
• Residential Electrical and standby-generator experience strongly preferred.
• Experience managing generator installations, permitting, and municipal approval processes preferred.
• Private Equity-backed or multi-location home-services experience preferred.
• HVAC background or relevant trade licence advantageous, although no specific certification is mandatory.
