Job summary

Steak ’n Shake in Kentucky is seeking a General Manager for a partnership opportunity that could lead to ownership. This full-time role offers up to $80,000 and a path to Franchisee Partner eligibility, with the door open to own the store you build.

You’ll lead from the floor, own your numbers, recruit and train a high-performing team, and drive hospitality, food safety, and guest satisfaction to franchise standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of QSR or fast-casual GM experience.
• Fluency in P&L management—you can quote food cost, labor %, and comp trend from memory.
• Hands-on leadership style, comfortable on the floor.
• Consistent work history with a builder's mindset.
• Owner mentality: every dollar, every guest, every team member matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide gold-standard service and hospitable guest experience.
• Lead from the floor by managing production, drive-thru, and dining room.
