Job summary

Hyatt Centric Denver Downtown is seeking a General Manager to lead all hotel operations, shape guest experiences, and drive business performance in downtown Denver.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team, uphold Hyatt brand standards, partner with Sales and Revenue teams, and ensure a culture of safety, service, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager or senior hotel leadership experience with full operational responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, budgeting, and revenue optimization.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience with Hyatt brand standards preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

What You'll Do

• Provide strategic leadership for all hotel departments, ensuring operational excellence and an exceptional guest experience.
• Drive financial performance by achieving revenue, profitability, and expense management goals.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department leaders while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining Hyatt brand standards and proactively addressing guest feedback.
• Partner with Sales, Revenue Management, and Marketing teams to maximize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and financial results.
• Champion employee engagement, recognition, retention, and professional development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, Hyatt brand standards, and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Build strong relationships with ownership, community partners, and local organizations.
• Promote a culture of safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the hotel.

What We're Looking For

Salary: $170k-$180k, plus bonus potential
