Job summary

Hyatt Centric Denver Downtown seeks an experienced General Manager to oversee all hotel operations in the heart of downtown Denver. You will lead guest service excellence, develop high-performing teams, and drive financial results while upholding Hyatt standards.

Based in a premier lifestyle hotel, you will shape guest experiences, mentor department leaders, and partner with Sales, Revenue, and Marketing to maximize occupancy and RevPAR.

Qualifications

• Previous General Manager or senior hotel leadership experience with full operational responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of hotel operations, financial management, budgeting, and revenue optimization.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

As General Manager, you'll have the opportunity to shape the guest experience, develop outstanding talent, and drive the continued success of this premier lifestyle hotel.

What You'll Do

• Provide strategic leadership for all hotel departments, ensuring operational excellence and an exceptional guest experience.
• Drive financial performance by achieving revenue, profitability, and expense management goals.
• Lead, mentor, and develop department leaders while fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing culture.
• Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by maintaining Hyatt brand standards and proactively addressing guest feedback.
• Partner with Sales, Revenue Management, and Marketing teams to maximize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR.
• Monitor key performance metrics and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and financial results.
• Champion employee engagement, recognition, retention, and professional development initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, Hyatt brand standards, and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Build strong relationships with ownership, community partners, and local organizations.
• Promote a culture of safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the hotel.

What We're Looking For
