Job summary

Chicken Salad Chick is seeking a General Manager to lead restaurant operations and guest experience. You will train teams, monitor food safety, and ensure consistent service. This role emphasizes people leadership, efficiency, and community involvement.

Responsibilities include inventory, scheduling, and driving performance while maintaining a welcoming, high-quality environment. Sundays closed and flexible schedules support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Eligible to work in the United States and 18+.
• Pass drug and background checks.
• Have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• ServSafe or Learn2Serve Management certification (or able to complete before starting).
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual a plus.
• Willing to work up to 50 hours per week including Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all restaurant operations and guest service.
• Recruit, train, and develop restaurant staff.
• Ensure food quality and safety standards are met.
• Manage daily activities to deliver excellent customer service.
• Maintain LEAN processes and inventory control.
• Coordinate scheduling and shift coverage.
• Drive performance with accountability and coaching.

Requirements:

• Work a maximum of up to fifty hours per week in the restaurant
• Current Certificate showing completion of the Foodguard Servsafe or Learn2Serve Management course OR be able to complete the course prior to starting work
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Have the ability to communicate effectively in English – Bilingual preferred
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be authorized to work in the United States
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Be able to pass a Drug and Background check
• Be available to work any time, including Saturdays
• One-year previous restaurant management or leadership experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Inventory management
• Allocate at least two hours per week to planning
• Focus on systematically and effectively communicating all Kitchen related goals and success factors to Team Members
• Combine critical thinking and practical leadership to create a culture of innovation
• Effectively coach and give direction
• Intentionally and methodically grow and nurture relationships with the staff
• Be able to connect with a multicultural team
• Align hiring, training, daily practices and evaluation practices with the Vision of the organization and the Thematic Goal for the year
• End-of-Month counts and input
• Maintaining accurate transfer logs
• Effective & efficient ordering
• Maintaining a LEAN production environment
• Coaching, evaluating, and providing accountability for all Team Members
• Troubleshooting and repairing equipment and facilities
• Ensure all necessary preventative maintenance and cleaning on a per set schedule.

This location is one of the originals to the franchise and we are looking for a hospitality professional to help us maintain a team of excellence and superb service.
