How you will contribute:

Leverage your strong management, continuous improvement and sales experience in this opportunity to drive overall success of our Quad Cities office and territory. Cultivate successful sales and achievement of financial goals while delivering targeted growth, operational excellence and strong profitability. You will develop your annual business plan (both short-term and long-term), work towards achieving sales, profitability and income goals while managing the overall budget. You will also lead a team of 5 employees and indirectly oversee a team of 60+. There is minimal travel associated with this position. The General Manager will report directly to a Vice President of Ahern Fire Protection.

What you need to qualify:

The ideal candidate will have five plus years of related experience in the construction industry with demonstrated management/ leadership capabilities and sales acumen/experience. Ahern will help make the most of your Bachelor's degree (preferably in a business, construction, or engineering related discipline) or equivalent work experience. You will also bring demonstrated profit and loss management knowledge. Exceptional ability to interact with customers and company management will be crucial.
