Job summary

Charter Foods is seeking an experienced Restaurant General Manager to lead daily operations, build a strong team, and deliver outstanding hospitality. You will hire, train, and develop staff, manage scheduling, and drive the budget and financial plans for the restaurant.

The ideal candidate has leadership and communication skills, a track record of people development, and a proactive approach. This role requires a 50-hour work week, basic computer literacy, and the ability to manage a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 1-3 years of supervisory experience in food service or retail with Profit & Loss responsibility.
• 50-Hour Work Week.
• High School Diploma or GED, preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer literacy.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Basic business math and accounting skills, and strong analytical/decision-making skills
• Able to tolerate standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs. and stooping during 80% of shift time.
• Competitive spirit and passion for excellence.

You are responsible for the operation of the entire restaurant and building a strong team that consistently provides customers great food and a friendly experience. Key responsibilities include finding, hiring and developing employees, conducting new hire orientation and executing the training plan for each new hire. You’re also responsible for scheduling and deploying the Team correctly, addressing performance issues, assisting in the resolution of customer issues and managing the restaurant budget and financial plans.
