Job summary

The Highland Dallas is seeking an inspiring and results-driven General Manager to lead one of Dallas' premier lifestyle hotels.

This role partners with ownership and Davidson Hospitality Group to maximize financial performance, elevate the guest experience, and build a high-performing, engaged team. You'll provide strategic leadership across all hotel operations and drive topline growth with a hands-on, guest-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Five or more years of progressive hotel leadership experience, including as a General Manager in a lifestyle hotel.
• Proven track record of leading complex hotel operations and achieving financial/operational goals.
• Strong understanding of revenue optimization, budgeting, forecasting, and asset management.
• Experience partnering with ownership groups and corporate leadership.
• Outstanding leadership, coaching, and team development skills with a focus on workplace culture.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with associates, guests, ownership, and partners.
• Strategic thinker with strong decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Passion for delivering memorable guest experiences and an exceptional workplace for associates.

What You'll Do

• Drive topline revenue growth and profitability through commercial strategy, market awareness, and sound financial stewardship.
• Partner with ownership and Davidson Hospitality Group to execute business objectives, capital initiatives, and long-term strategic plans.
• Build, mentor, and develop an experienced leadership team while creating opportunities for associate growth and succession planning.
• Ensure operational excellence by maintaining brand standards, service quality, and guest satisfaction across every touchpoint.
• Cultivate strong relationships within the local community and position The Highland Dallas as a premier destination for guests, groups, and events.
• Analyze business trends, market conditions, and competitive intelligence to identify opportunities and drive performance.
• Lead with integrity, adaptability, and a hands-on leadership style that inspires confidence and collaboration.

What We're Looking For
