The Highland Dallas, Curio Collection by Hilton is seeking a focused Food & Beverage Manager to oversee F&B activities and uphold health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards in a luxury Dallas setting.

You will interview, train, supervise, coach, schedule, and manage staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences and strong service quality.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Fine dining experience: 2–3+ years.
• Banquet management experience: 2+ years.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Effective communication with the public and staff.
• Meet minimum age requirement per jurisdiction.
• Supervisory/management experience.
• Basic math level (8th grade) and reasoning (high school level).
• Compliance with health, safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

Overview

The Food & Beverage Manager assists department head in oversight of the activities of the food and beverage departments. Ensures compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards. Helps ensure high standards of food and beverage quality, service and marketing to maximize profits and insure outstanding customer service. Interviews, trains, supervises, coaches, schedules, and manages staff.

Qualifications

• Read, write and speak English.
• Prefer two to three plus years of fine dining experience.
• Prefer two plus years in banquet management experience.
• Food/Beverage Service Worker Permit, where applicable.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees.
• Meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction.
• Previous supervisory/management skills and experience.
• Requires 8th grade math level.
• Requires high school reasoning level.
• Requires 12th grade language use level.
• No employee will pose a direct threat to the health/safety of self or others.
