Job summary

Metz Culinary Management is growing and has openings for a Rock Star Food Service Director/GM who leads a busy kitchen and café operations, presenting a polished professional image and winning attitude.

The role oversees menus, purchasing, scheduling, bookkeeping, client relations, and sanitation, reporting to Client Administration and the District Manager. Previous contract dining experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in a Food Service Manager role in front and back operations.
• Experience in Contract Dining environments (Hospital, School, College, Senior Living, Corporate).
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall food service operations including sanitation and customer relations.
• Institute cycle menus and recipes; manage purchasing and scheduling.
• Direct bookkeeping and account management while leading a team.
• Report to Client Administration and District Manager.

Metz Culinary Management is growing and we have openings for a Rock Star Food Service Director/GM who shares our passion for Food and Service. This position is a prominent opportunity in a busy commercial kitchen and café operations setting and requires a polished and professional identity and winning attitude from a Director with experience leading a team in all operations. Experience desired in a Contract Dining Food Service setting such as Hospital, School, College, Senior Living or Corporate Dining accounts.

The Food Service Director/ GM has an overall responsibility of food service. He/She institutes company cycle menus and recipes; plans and oversees purchasing, employee personnel programs, scheduling, bookkeeping, customer and client relations; overseas the food preparation service and sanitation; and is accountable for the total operation results. The General Manager reports to Client Administration and The District Manager.
