The Traveling General Manager at Flik Hospitality Group leads day-to-day operations for United Airlines lounges, reporting to the Regional VP. The role requires strong communication, multi-tasking, team leadership and a focus on delivering top-quality food and service across LAX, SFO, EWR and ORD.

You will oversee P&L, scheduling, payroll, menus with the culinary team, and partner with marketing. The ideal candidate has a hospitality or culinary background and a track record in high-volume

Qualifications

• Five years of foodservice operation experience.
• Budget management experience is required.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience with HR functions including hiring and counseling.
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all P&L and budgeting for the account.
• Manage day-to-day operations of the account.
• Conduct HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations.
• Oversee scheduling, payroll and team training.
• Maintain relationships with customers, guests and client.
• Work with Chef and management to create menus and programs.
• Roll out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.

Job Summary

Job Summary:

The Traveling General Manager, reporting directly to the Regional Vice President, holds duties related to day to day operations of the United Airlines Lounges. The position entails a need for excellent communication skills; ability to multi-task, strong team leadership, client relations and ensures superior food quality and strong customer service skills. You will support the LAX, SFO, EWR, and ORD airports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversees all P&L and budgeting as it pertains to the account
• Manages overall day to day operations of the account
• Conducts HR functions including hiring, progressive counseling, terminations
• Oversees scheduling, payroll and team training
• Maintains excellent relationships with customers, guests and Client as well as other departments
• Works with the Chef and management team in creating menus and providing top quality food
• Rolls out new culinary programs in conjunction with Company marketing and culinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS, Hospitality or Culinary degree preferred
• Five years of foodservice operation experience
• High volume production and catering experience is essential
• Previous experience managing a budget
• Ability to travel up to 100% of the time
• Desire to learn and grow with a top notch foodservice company
