Job summary

McDonald’s franchise restaurant in Burns Harbor, Indiana is seeking a General Manager to lead daily operations, guest experience, and team performance. You will direct crew and management, ensure food safety, and drive staffing, onboarding and coaching.

This role offers full-time and part-time flexibility to fit varying schedules. The GM will plan inventory, budgeting and ordering, while maintaining high standards for safety and guest satisfaction.

• Lead all restaurant operations including food production, guest service and staff management.

• Make inventory, budgeting and food-ordering decisions to optimize operations.
• Ensure food safety standards and regulatory compliance are met.
• Maintain high standards of guest and employee safety and service quality.
• Oversee maintenance and daily ops to meet McDonald’s standards of excellence.

This role is vitalto the operations within the restaurant because you’ll:

• Lead the experience: Manage all aspects within the restaurant, including food production, guest service and experience, and direct crew and manager work
• Plan for success: Proactively lead and manage all People processes including but not limited to:

o Recruiting, Hiring and Onboarding

o Staffing

o Performance Management

o Train, coach and motivate

• Be in the know: Plan for and make critical business decisions around inventory, budget, and food ordering/costs
• Take action first: Ensure food safety measures are set and achieved to McDonald’s standards of excellence
• Inspire and Empower: Maintain high level of standard for guest and employee safety
• Be results oriented: Oversee all operational needs of the restaurant, including maintenance plans to meet and exceed standards of excellence
