Job summary

Doncasters in Auburn, AL, seeks a General Manager to lead the site’s operational, commercial and people functions, delivering the budget for a new Superalloy plant and driving sustainable, profitable growth.

The role requires you to build strong customer relationships, manage P&L, and implement a strategic plan focused on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost metrics across a large, diverse organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a leader of a large organization.
• Profitable commercial growth experience preferably in aerospace/IGT/industrial markets.
• Strong background in engineering and operational leadership.
• P&L responsibility with budgeting knowledge.
• Strategic plan development to meet safety, quality, delivery, inventory and cost metrics.
• Experience leading large, diverse site functions.
• Experience creating a Continuous Improvement culture of Operational Excellence.

• Demonstrated ability to develop a strategic plan to meet key business objectives/metrics in the areas of Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, and Cost
• Management of large teams of diverse site functions whether under direct leadership or matrix managed
• Demonstrated experience in creating a Continuous Improvement culture of Operational Excellence
