Job summary

Doncasters is seeking a General Manager to join our Auburn, AL site to provide operational, commercial and people leadership, delivering budgeted performance for a new superalloy plant and driving profitable growth.

You will strengthen long-term customer relationships, lead a large organization, manage P&L, and champion Operational Excellence through Doncasters Production System to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a leader of a large organization.
• Demonstrated profitable commercial growth preferably in Superalloys and/or Aerospace/IGT/Automotive markets.
• Strong background in engineering and operational leadership.
• P&L responsibility of a similar sized business; with budgeting processes and financial management tools.
• Strategic planning to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory and Cost objectives.
• Experience in managing large teams across site functions; cross-functional or matrix structures.
• Proven track record creating a Continuous Improvement culture of Operational Excellence.
