Qualifications

Scope of Work:

Operate, maintain and clean all pickup trucks with attachments, forklifts, and asphalt rollers. Must be able to perform duties under adverse weather conditions. Must be able to perform snow crew standby duties when scheduled and report to work within one hour when contacted. Practical knowledge of trench shoring, worksite safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain and clean all pickup trucks with attached snowplow and bed-mounted sander, forklifts, asphalt rollers.
  • Use, clean and perform maintenance on all assigned small and large powered machinery.
  • Clear debris and soils from drainage systems.
  • Form, compact soils to grade, erect structural reinforcing steel, and finish concrete or hard surface pavement materials for repairs.
  • Place, roll and finish hot and cold mix asphalt in the repair of potholes and raveled edges.
  • Install and repair chain-link, barbwire, split rail, and wood privacy fences.
  • Install, maintain, and repair all signage, traffic control, and facility signs.
  • Perform snow removal operations as directed by supervisor and section leads.
  • Apply deicing chemicals to streets as needed and report usages.
  • Clean daily the interior and exterior of vehicles signed out and used.
  • Support other areas of the project including athletic facilities preparation and maintenance tasks.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
  • Consistently produce quality products and service.
  • Complete all training within required timelines.
  • Perform all work in a safe and secure manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver’s License.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Must be capable of working under tight time constraints.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to maintain ability to access government worksite.
  • Must have practical knowledge of worksite safety.
  • Must be able to successfully complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
