Health and Welfare: $8.34- $10.96/hr up to 40 hours per week

Scope of Work:
This position serves as a truck driver for a majority of the workday. General Maintenance Workers also provide support on grounds-related services such as concrete work and asphalt.
Responsibilities:
- Assists in snow removal, paint striping, and moving lifts and equipment.
- Requires practical skill and knowledge (but not proficiency) in various construction trades.
- Work includes various laborious duties utilizing different hand tools, repairing or replacing concrete, asphalt, dirt work, and operating equipment such as Vactor Trucks, Dump Trucks with sander and plow, and Street Sweepers.
- During winter months, assist in snow removal via operation of various equipment.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Perform all assigned duties in accordance with established policies, procedures, and directives.
- Consistently produce quality products and service.
- Complete all training within required timeline.
- Perform all work in a safe and secure manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Class B CDL Required. Must have Tanker Endorsement or be willing to obtain within 6 months of employment.
- Class A CDL Preferred – no restrictions.
- Minimum of two (2) years related experience.
- Tandem dump truck and tractor trailer endorsement preferred.
- Tanker and hazmat experience preferred. Street and parking lot striping experience preferred.
- Construction equipment experience preferred.
- This position will require overtime and being on call.
- Must successfully complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (Tier 1) background check.
- Must maintain ability to access government worksite.
- Ability to work in a team or alone and change jobs on short notice.
- Displays courtesy and skill in dealing with customers, coworkers, and management.
- Must work under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment with multiple priorities.
- Highly motivated, flexible, organized, and detail-oriented.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Practical knowledge of worksite safety, occupational hazards, and standard safety practices.
- Must work outdoors in any weather conditions.
- Must perform duties under adverse weather conditions (extreme cold/heat, etc.).
- On a continuous basis, sit, stand, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, grasp tools, and lift or carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to work alternate and extended shift schedules when necessary, including weekends and holidays.
- Must have and maintain a valid state driver’s license to operate a company vehicle.
- Must have a safe driving record, as defined by Company policy.
- Must complete a drug/alcohol test and a criminal record check.
