Position Overview and Primary Duties

Alutiiq Logistics and Maintenance Services seeks a skilled General Maintenance Worker to perform maintenance and repairs on equipment under supervision. Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installations, documentation, and ensuring safety and compliance. Special focus on HVAC systems installation, service, and repair.

Qualifications and Experience

- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Experience: At least 5 years in maintenance and repair of industrial machinery, including HVAC.
- Skills: Mechanical and electrical aptitude, proficiency with tools, ability to interpret technical manuals, problem-solving, communication skills, valid driver’s license.
- Clearance: Current TS/SCI preferred, minimum TS clearance.
- Physical: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and at heights.
- Environment: Exposure to loud noises, dust, hazardous materials; PPE required.
