Humble ISD General Maintenance - Maintenance on Demand

Reports to: General Crafts Supervisor
School/Department: Maintenance Department
Pay Grade: Manual Trades/Hourly MT5
Wage/hour status: Non-Exempt/Hourly
Days: 261
Created/revised: December 2023

Primary Purpose:

Under general supervision: perform general maintenance and repair of building structures and assist with maintenance of grounds.

Qualifications:
Education/Certification:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • May be required to successfully complete job ability testing.
Special Knowledge/Skills:
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Knowledge of basic construction and routine maintenance and repair procedures.
  • Ability to communicate effectively (verbally).
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge using computers or iPads.
Experience:
  • One year experience in general building maintenance.
