Job Purpose

The General Maintenance Worker at Adherex Group will perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities, including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, and other building systems. The role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of the facility to ensure safety and functionality.
• Troubleshoot issues and execute repairs such as drywall, doors, and painting.
• Clean and maintain the facility to meet company standards.
• Order and manage supplies needed for maintenance tasks.
• Utilize manuals and blueprints for repair and maintenance activities.
• Support the maintenance team with additional duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into spaces.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Required Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience

• Experience in general maintenance and repairs, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, heating and cooling.
• Familiarity with manuals and blueprints.
