General Maintenance Worker

Location: FANNIE MAE, RESTON - 88125043

Workdays/shifts: WEEKDAYS ONLY - Specific Shifts. More details will be provided during the interview process.

Employment Type: Full-time

Pay Range: $30.70 per hour

What You’ll Do:

As a General Maintenance Worker at Sodexo, you are a problem-solver and safety promoter. Your knowledge and technical skills are critical to meet maintenance needs. By keeping others safe, your actions have a meaningful impact.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform maintenance service or repairs in one or more skill areas, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting and plastering, machine servicing, electrical repairs or installations, or vehicle servicing.
• Perform tasks such as changing light bulbs, installing paper dispenser units, changing filters, changing locks on doors, minor decorative maintenance, and other tasks not requiring a licensed skilled tradesperson or journeyman.
• Attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.

What You Bring:

• Successful candidates will be team-oriented, adaptable, reliable, and committed to maintaining a healthy and safe working environment for all.
• 2 or more years of related experience.
• Hold appropriate license/certification for the specific work to be done in the city and state where the work will be performed.
• Additional Requirements: Possess a valid driver’s license.
