Job summary

UG2 is seeking a Handyperson to perform maintenance and repair tasks across our facility. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to troubleshoot, and the capacity to work independently while delivering quality customer service.

The position involves visiting diverse client sites, handling multiple projects, and participating in regular team meetings to review ongoing work. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of related customer service or facility services experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly in all situations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to visit different clients' sites and perform general maintenance.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks with strong attention to detail.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

MAJOR FUNCTION:

The Handyperson, under the direction of the Supervisor or Manager, is responsible for performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across different areas of a facility. This role requires strong technical skills, the ability to troubleshoot and solve problems, and the capacity to work independently. Quality customer service skills are essential.

Job Responsibilities:

• Repairing and installing locks.
• Some plumbing duties.
• Assembly of furniture and hanging of pictures.
• Great people's skills.
• Must be able to work unsupervised.
• Some porter work as needed.
• Weekly meetings with facility manager to review various projects.
• Maintenance and facility repair.
• Attend to members of staff promptly when called upon.
• Safety and security awareness.
• Other routine maintenance duties as assigned.

Requirements (Knowledge, Abilities, Skills, and Education and/or Experience):
