White Lodging in Louisville, KY, seeks a General Maintenance Technician to support the hotel's engineering team in maintaining the property’s appearance, functionality, and safety to meet White Lodging standards.

The role involves carpentry, plumbing, painting, and general maintenance with at least one year of experience. Comprehensive benefits start Day 1, with opportunities to grow across multiple hotels and within the engineering department.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform general carpentry, plumbing, and painting duties and operate hand and power tools.
• Basic working knowledge of general maintenance with a desire to continue developing in a trade area (e.g., electrical, carpentry).
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 10 lbs regularly and 25 lbs occasionally, and stand/move for long periods.
• At least one year of maintenance experience required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the hotel’s maintenance and upkeep standards meet WL, Brand, and Guest standards.
• Support the Chief Engineer in overseeing and supervising all aspects of the Engineering function of the hotel.
• Clean all engineering areas as directed, maintaining neat operations.
• Complete all work safely and professionally with clear communication to supervisors regarding tools, supplies, and materials.
• Check fixtures, lighting, and signs for proper operation and stock spare parts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Complete all work assigned in a safe and professional manner while maintaining communication with supervisors regarding tools, supplies, and materials.

• Perform other duties as assigned.
