EMCOR Facilities Services in Hartsville, SC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the site supervisor, deliver quality workmanship, and uphold a professional working environment across the facility.
Qualified candidates will have 3–5 years of facilities maintenance experience, a valid driver’s license, be a US citizen, and demonstrate strong communication, safety awareness, and the ability to perform carpentry, painting, plumbing, and basic repairs.

The Technician will report daily to the EMCOR site supervisor and support the site supervisor to provide quality workmanship and high work standards to maintain a professional working environment. The primary responsibilities of this position are to be responsible for the general facility maintenance needs at the facility as required. Knowledge of and capable of performing carpentry/repairs and various general tasks assigned. Qualified applicant must be a US Citizen, possess a valid driver’s license and have at least 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in facilities maintenance and dealing with a wide range of general type services. Must possess a professional appearance, excellent customer service and communication skills.

The ability to lift 50lbs, climb ladders and the ability to walk the facility throughout the day are required. Can regularly kneel repetitively during shift. Can move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis. Can work and maneuver on a variety of terrains. Can interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress. The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. May be required to work in confined, restricted, and hot areas. We are also responsible for snow removal and there are times in the Winter season when most of the day is spent outdoors in cold/snow conditions. Must be willing to work overtime when required. May be required to work holidays and weekends.
