Job summary

Aisin Automotive Casting Tennessee Inc. is seeking a skilled General Maintenance technician for the 3rd shift in Clinton, TN.

The role focuses on installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, electrical systems, and structural components to ensure continuous plant operations. You will perform routine preventive maintenance, troubleshoot PLCs and automated equipment, and support fabrication tasks while complying with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a one-year college certificate or 2–4 years related maintenance experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and operating manuals.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and communication skills are essential.
• Must pass drug screen, physical, and background check prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Inspect machinery, listen for unusual sounds, diagnose issues.
• Dismantle and replace defective parts; install new components.
• Perform preventive maintenance and test electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Operate welding gear and cutting tools for fabrication and repair.
• Maintain safety, quality, and housekeeping standards.
• Work on multiple assignments and meet schedules as required.

**Job Title: **General Maintenance (Skilled Trade) 3rd Shift**Company: **Aisin Automotive Casting Tennessee Inc.Department:General Maintenance**Location: **Clinton, TNPosition SummaryInstalls, maintains, and repairs machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe or electrical systems.Position ResponsibilitiesThe incumbent is expected to perform the following functions that the company has determined are essential to this position:Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.Listens for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations to diagnose problem or repair machine.Dismantles defective machines and equipment.Installs new or repaired parts.Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment.Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.Repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment.Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment.Sets up and operates machine tools to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.Operates cutting torch or welding equipment.Fabricates and repairs.Performs routine maintenance.Other duties may be assigned.Required Skills and AbilitiesEssential Skills and Experience:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
