Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Providing maintenance and engineering services, responding to service calls throughout the hospital complex. Performs accurate repairs on equipment and building systems within capability and calls in more qualified personnel when necessary. Performs other tasks as directed by the General Maintenance Shop Lead and Supervisor.

Responsibilities

1. Performs troubleshooting and repairs on equipment and systems as assigned.
2. Responds to and assists in emergency and disaster situations.
3. Checks buildings to ensure essential systems operate properly.
4. Performs preventative maintenance on schedule and according to department standards.

Minimum Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience

• 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience

• No Experience required

Preferred Requirements

• Associate or Trade School Equivalent
