Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field
• Ability to read schematics and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems; welding and fabrication tasks
• Basic mechanical understanding and blueprint reading
• Strong mechanical aptitude with proven maintenance experience and ability to use test equipment to diagnose root causes
• Proficiency in basic computer skills
• Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts
• Clear communication in English with coworkers and supervisors
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
• Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions and wear PPE

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain, repair, and replace industrial milling machinery and equipment
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Provide technical support and leadership for equipment troubleshooting and modifications
• Perform welding and fabrication tasks
• Conduct uptime and downtime preventive maintenance
• Contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Complete corrective maintenance work orders
• Keep maintenance and metal shops clean and in 5S condition
• Assist other plant areas as needed

Employees take pride in the plant’s strong family ties, and notable history includes its former name, Cheeri-Oats, grain transport by boat, and a fire the day before it opened in 1940. **What We Have to Offer** * **$33.88/hour starting pay*** Additional $.34 per hour for hours worked on 2nd shift* Additional $.41 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift* Up to 120 hours (15 days) vacation annually (depending on schedule)* 11 paid company holidays* 401(k) with company match* Medical, dental, life insurance* Career growth and cross-training opportunities **Your Work Schedule and Shift Information** * **8-hour shift*** 1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm* Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed* Plant operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week. **KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES** **As part of our manufacturing team, you will (but not limited to):*** Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing industrial milling machinery, work tools and equipment* Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues* Providing technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modifications* Performing welding and fabrication activities* Performing both uptime and downtime preventative maintenance* Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance* Performing corrective maintenance work orders* Maintaining all maintenance shop, metal shop, and associated areas per 5S standards* Assist other plant areas as assigned **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** * High school diploma or GED* 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent education in a related field* Solid understanding of maintenance shop skills with the ability to read schematics, troubleshoot, and work on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and ability to perform welding and fabrication tasks* Basic mechanical understanding and blueprint reading* Outstanding mechanical aptitude with applicable, proven maintenance experience.
