General Production Associate Starting Pay: $33.88/hour Additional $.34 per hour for hours worked on 2nd shift Additional $.41 per hour for hours worked on 3rd shift 8-hour shifts

Your Work Schedule and Shift Information

8-hour shift (Only hiring for 1st shift at this time) 1st shift: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm 2nd shift: 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm 3rd shift: 11:00 pm to 7:00 am Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, and holidays as needed Plant operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing industrial milling machinery, work tools and equipment
Identifying and troubleshooting mechanical issues
Providing technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modifications
Performing welding and fabrication activities
Performing both uptime and downtime preventative maintenance
Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance
Assist other plant areas as assigned

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED
3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance or equivalent education in a related field
Solid understanding of maintenance shop skills with the ability to read schematics, troubleshoot, and work on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and ability to perform welding and fabrication tasks
Basic mechanical understanding and blueprint reading
Outstanding mechanical aptitude with applicable, proven maintenance experience.
Proven ability to learn, maintain and practice troubleshooting skills, and use test equipment to diagnose root cause.
Proficiency in basic computer skills
Ability to work rotating 8-hour shifts
Must possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods
Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions
Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
Ability to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards
Ability to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)
Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergens

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Manufacturing or production experience
Technical degree in industrial maintenance or related field
Welding, lathe, mill, and fabrication experience
