Job summary

Ocean Casino Resort is seeking a General Maintenance Mechanic to oversee preventive, routine and emergency service for the building’s electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems at our Atlantic City property.

The role requires five years of experience in a primary trade, strong English communication, and flexibility to work holidays, weekends, and varying shifts. Candidates should be able to lift up to 75 pounds and maintain high safety standards in a fast-paced casino environment.

Qualifications

About the Role

The General Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the preventative, routine and emergency service of the building’s electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.

• Maintains proper care and storage of tools and equipment
• Works closely with Lead to coordinate an efficient and safe work environment
• Performs other related general maintenance duties as assigned

Essential Functions

• High degrees of mobility to enable person to respond to any type of emergency situation of service call
• Ability to effectively communicate by way of 2-way radio or pager system
• Physical ability and skill to use normal tools and equipment associated with the trade
• Exposure to casino related environmental factors, including but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and stress related to servicing customers in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts/hours
• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
