Job description

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Understands and responds to internal guests' needs, communicating in a friendly, respectful, and understandable manner.
2. Provides consistent, timely, and accurate information, and finds answers when unsure.
3. Uses outlined service behaviors when encountering guests.
4. Meets expected service delivery times as defined by department standards or as required by the receiver of service or goods.
5. Acts as a team player, cooperating with employees within and outside the department.
6. Speaks positively about the company, co-workers, and guests.
7. Responds to routine maintenance calls as required.
8. Completes duties as assigned or per the Preventive Maintenance schedule within the scope of the General Maintenance shop.
9. Returns incomplete work service requests to the office with explanations.
10. Adheres to safe employee practices.
11. Assists with training the Apprentice Engineer.
12. Lifts and moves tools and parts related to applicable trades.
13. Prepares work areas, including moving furniture or obstructions.
14. Keeps the Lead informed of inventory of materials and equipment necessary for job duties.
15. Note: This position does not include maintenance or operation of gaming equipment.
16. Completes special assignments for management as requested.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Trade school training or approved apprenticeship program is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years' experience as a Journeyman Electrician, Plumber, H.V.A.C Technician, Mechanic, Ground Support, Maintenance, or Machinist.
• Ability to read and evaluate blueprints related to applicable trades.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license.
