Job summary

New York Racing Association is seeking a General Maintenance / Laborer for full-time work at Aqueduct Racetrack or Belmont Park. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:30 PM, with outdoor tasks in all weather.

Applicants must be 18+, able to obtain a NYS Gaming Commission license, and possess a valid driver's license. Responsibilities include mowing, raking, and general barn work, along with other duties as assigned to support grounds and facilities maintenance.

Job Overview:

Full time opportunities exist for individuals with some general labor, maintenance or landscaping experience to work in NYRA’s maintenance department at Aqueduct Racetrack or Belmont Park. Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5:30 PM.

Summary of Physical Requirements and Work Environment:

General maintenance roles are not sedentary and involve working in outdoor conditions at either Belmont Park or Aqueduct Racetrack. Prolonged periods of standing and walking. Must be able to lift over 50 lbs.

Pay Range / Salary:

$19.00 per CBA
