The University of Louisville is seeking a General Maintenance I to move furniture, equipment and other items, assist with setup and cleanup for events, and support various trades as needed. The position requires a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsabilidades

• Move furniture, equipment, and other items between locations using dollies and other tools.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Set up displays for special events in various departments.
• Assist with construction and repairs; haul debris from renovation sites.
• Operate vehicles and heavy equipment; perform safety checks and maintain tools.
• Work effectively both independently and with a team.
• Report to work for university emergencies during closures.
• Lift and move items up to 50 pounds, and over 50 pounds with handling devices.
• Perform essential duties and participate in required trainings and meetings.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
