Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer who will help ensure rooms exceed guests’ expectations by maintaining safety and functionality across the hotel’s facilities.

Qualificações

• Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting and wall repair experience.

• Previous customer service experience is a plus.

The Maintenance team at Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is currently seeking their next General Maintenance Engineer that will help ensure rooms exceed our guests’ expectations.

Shift Pattern: AM PM Overnight

Ideal Candidates For This Role Will Possess

• Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and wall repair experience required.
• Basic knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
• Previous customer service experience is a plus!
• A guest forward service heart!

Responsibilities

Here’s what you'll do during a typical day:

• Maintain hotel facilities: Ensure physical functionality and safety of the property, including guest rooms, public spaces, and heart-of-house areas
• Respond to service requests: Quickly handle guest calls and team member work orders
• Perform a variety of maintenance tasks: Conduct repairs and maintenance across various areas, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and masonry
• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections: Regularly inspect facilities and equipment to identify and address preventive maintenance needs
• Document maintenance activities: Record completed inspections and repairs and flag any issues requiring further attention
