Job Description

Pelican Grand Beach Resort, part of Noble House Hotels & Resorts, is seeking a full-time Maintenance Engineer to work and play on Fort Lauderdale Beach. Responsibilities
  • Respond to guest repair requests and communicate with guests to resolve issues.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication.
  • Inspect tools, equipment, and machines visually.
  • Carry equipment such as tools and radios.
  • Identify and operate all shut-off valves and utility shut-offs.
  • Maintain inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed.
  • Communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts using approved standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in general maintenance.
  • Preferred experience in a resort or hotel setting.
  • Professional English communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic knowledge or ability to learn about air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and general building maintenance.

Salary
