Position Overview

As part of the talented Thunder Jet team, this position as General Maintenance worker you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of facilities, enduring they meet safety and functionality standards through various maintenance tasks. Essential Functions

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure everything is in good working order.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections performed on equipment and facilities.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely.
• Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable.
• Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however, others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications

• Assist in seasonal yard needs and housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Other duties as required.
• Possess and maintain a legal driver’s licence.
• Must complete forklift training.

Preferred Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training, vocational courses, or apprenticeships in relevant fields are preferred.
• Prior experience (1-3+ years) as a maintenance worker or technician in facilities, property management, or industrial settings.
• Basic or higher computer skills.
• Detailed and organized.
• Self starter, team player with good safety awareness.

The anticipated pay range for this position is grade 5 $23.25-$24.75 hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.

Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to talk, hear, see, sit, and use arms, hands, and fingers. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, balance, and use arms and hands to reach, pull, push, clasp, and move a variety of materials. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level is moderate to high in the manufacturing setting.
