Are you a junior attorney licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and/or New York? Are you ready to elevate your career and make a significant impact in a thriving legal environment? Then this is the opportunity you have been waiting for! Latitude is seeking a General Litigation Defense Attorney for a permanent position with a full-service leading defense litigation firm. Interested candidates should have at least 2 years of experience defending general litigation claims. Excellent written and oral advocacy skills are a must. Candidates must be licensed and in good standing in Pennsylvania and New York or Pennsylvania and New Jersey. This is a fully remote position.

Responsibilities of the General Litigation Defense Attorney:

  • Manage a general litigation caseload
  • Work closely with other attorneys and partners on legal projects
  • Regularly handle court appearances, depositions, and examinations under oath
  • Communicate with clients and provide status reports

Requirements for the General Litigation Defense Attorney:

  • 2+ years of general litigation defense experience
  • Experience preparing pleadings, discovery, depositions and motion practice
  • Superior written and oral advocacy skills required
  • Licensed to practice and in good standing in Pennsylvania & New York or Pennsylvania & New Jersey
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and excellent academic credentials
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, professional law firm setting
  • Outstanding references

Compensation

  • Pay: The salary range for this role is $125,000 - $150,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, and location.
  • Benefits: In addition to pay, a competitive benefits package is also provided, including medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) and generous leave policies.
