Qualifications

• Active license to practice law in Texas.
• 3+ years of civil litigation defense experience.
• Experience handling trucking/transportation, premises liability, product liability, toxic tort/asbestos, or general liability defense preferred.
• Strong skills in legal research, writing, motion practice, and discovery.
• Experience taking and defending depositions and managing key litigation responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a litigation caseload with partner guidance and mentorship.
• Draft and argue motions, conduct depositions, and manage written discovery.
• Appear in court and actively participate in trials and trial preparation.
• Defend clients in trucking, premises liability, product liability, toxic tort/asbestos, and other general liability matters.
• Work directly with sophisticated clients on complex, high‑exposure litigation.
