Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an experienced Liability Claims Examiner to adjudicate General Liability BI & Auto BI claims, with litigation experience and NY licensing preferred. The role offers hybrid work and a strong benefits package in a global, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 4 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Jurisdiction Knowledge: Nationwide
• Licensing: NY preferred

Responsibilities

• Analyze and adjudicate complex claims and determine benefits due.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions professionally and promptly.
