Job Description: Insurance Defense Attorney (Remote)

Experience: 2+ years

About our client:

Our client is a growing law firm specializing in complex litigation, claims, risk management, and transactions across construction, business, and employment sectors. And currently they are looking for insurance defense attorney to join their team in a fully remote capacity.

Responsibilities:

• Independently manage and handle a caseload of insurance defense matters, including but not limited to general liability, premises liability, construction defect, personal injury defense, and product liability.
• Conduct thorough investigations, legal research, and analysis of factual and legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Meet the firm's annual billable hour requirement of 1800-1900 hours.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar is required.
• Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing law with a focus on insurance defense litigation.
