Job summary

Cole, Scott & Kissane seeks a driven attorney to join our General Liability practice in Jacksonville, Florida. The attorney will defend businesses and individuals in a wide range of tort matters, including premises and products liability.

Responsibilities include taking depositions, drafting and arguing motions, attending hearings, mediations and trials, performing legal research, and preparing pleadings and correspondence while communicating with clients, expert witnesses and opposing counsel.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Prior litigation experience is preferred but not required.
