You will manage a full caseload from inception to resolution, conduct research, draft pleadings and briefs, and represent clients at depositions, hearings, and court appearances. A JD and NY Bar admission are required, with 2+ years in general liability/insurance defense.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school is required.
• Active New York State Bar admission in good standing.
• 2+ years of experience in general liability/insurance defense.
• Strong knowledge of New York civil procedure and tort law.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage a high-volume caseload independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of general liability matters from inception through resolution, including trial.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
• Develop and execute litigation strategies in coordination with senior attorneys and clients.
