The Opportunity

I'm working with an established multi-practice New York firm that's continuing to grow its General Liability team.

They're open to attorneys at different stages of their careers, from those with a couple of years' experience looking to build their foundations, through to more experienced attorneys who want greater ownership of their matters.

The role is hybrid and offers exposure across different areas of litigation, with a realistic progression path for someone looking to build their career with the firm.

What Will You Be Doing?

• Managing general liability matters from inception through resolution
• Conducting legal research and drafting pleadings and correspondence
• Negotiating settlements and representing clients
• Handling matters across personal injury and related liability claims
• Working closely with attorneys and support staff on case strategy

The idea is to give you real responsibility while still having the support around you to continue developing.

Who Are They Looking For?

You'll need at least 2 years of general liability experience and admission to the New York Bar.

Additional admission in New Jersey, Connecticut or Pennsylvania would be an advantage, but isn't essential.

They're looking for someone who can take ownership of their work, communicate well with clients and wants to continue growing their litigation experience.
