Job summary

TheBest Claims is seeking a General Liability Adjuster for a direct hire in California. The role requires 2 years of General Liability experience in California and involves identifying liability and defenses, and gathering damages-related information for settlements.

In-office attendance is required one day per week (Wednesday). Preferred candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and experience with public entities.

Qualifications

• 2 years of General Liability experience in California.
• Identify liability and potential defenses, including use of governmental immunities, comparative negligence, joint tort feasors and joint several liability.
• Develop information on damages including: Property damage; Nature and extent of injuries; Medical costs; Lost wages; and other damages.

• Develop information on damages for settlements (property damage, injuries, medical costs, wages).
• Obtain all necessary documents for settlements (releases, court documents, settlement agreements).

Our client is a Third Party Administrator and is looking for a General Liability Adjuster for their Direct Hire Opening. Our client pays 100% of the employees healthcare coverage and asks the employee to be in-office 1 day per week (Wednesday).
