We're looking for an experienced General Ledger & Tax Accountant to own our core financial accounting, reporting, and tax planning. This is a great fit for a hands‑on accounting professional from a manufacturing background who's ready to take ownership of the monthly close, tax compliance, and financial reporting — while also mentoring junior accounting staff.

What You'll Do

General Ledger & Month-End Close

• Own monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
• Manage and maintain general ledger accounts and bookkeeping
• Reconcile inter-company balances
• Handle accrued expenses and amortization of prepaid expenses
• Account for fixed assets and construction‑in‑progress

Tax Management

• Manage and file various taxes and fees (e.g., sales tax, property tax)
• Apply for and maintain sales tax certificates
• Partner with tax authorities on inspections and support annual audits

Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual comprehensive financial reports
• Consolidate and analyze company base data and reporting
• Coordinate year-end financial statement completion
• Analyze revenue and expenditure trends; monitor budget execution
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue, reduce costs, and improve fund utilization; recommend improvements to cash/fund management

Leadership & Process

• Supervise and mentor accounting team members; support on‑job training
• Partner with the Finance Manager to optimize financial systems and accounting workflows
• Assign, coordinate, review, and guide day‑to‑day accounting work
• Maintain strict security and confidentiality standards for accounting vouchers, seals, and files

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor's degree or above in Financial Management, Accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of financial/accounting experience, ideally within a manufacturing company
• Strong working knowledge of finance, accounting, and financial management practices; familiarity with tax and customs matters
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office
• Working knowledge of economic law, relevant tax laws, and local regulations
• Strong communication and influencing skills, solid problem‑solving ability, and a systematic, detail-oriented approach
• High integrity and discretion in handling confidential company and financial information
• Resilient, collaborative, and able to build trust across internal and external stakeholders
