Job summary

Imerys, a leading minerals company, is seeking a General Ledger Fixed Assets Associate Accountant for its Greece SSC. The role supports fixed assets accounting, month-end closings, and reconciliation processes within a fast-paced European finance function.

The position requires a accounting degree, 1–2 years of experience, and fluency in English. Familiarity with R3 ERP and S4 Hana is a plus; Greek language skills are beneficial. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Greece.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience with ERPs, specifically R3 and S4 Hana, is a plus.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of French, German, or Italian is advantageous.

The Position

General Ledger Fixed Assets Associate Accountant

Job Summary

In 2019, Imerys established its first Shared Service Center (SSC) in Greece to streamline financial operations and support the accounting functions of its entities across Europe.

Job Purpose

This position will be part of the Fixed Assets process team, responsible for the accurate and on time performing of FA activities, according to group policies.

Outside the closing period, the key tasks included are the preparation of AUC analysis, FA reconciliation, BS Reconciliation and controls.

• 1-2 years of relevant experience in relevant role
• Experience with ERPs , R3 and S4 Hana would be considered a plus
• Fluent in English
• Conversant in French, German, Italian or any other European language is a plus
