Job summary

Domaine Vincent Inc. is seeking seasonal full-time farm workers to join its fruit orchard operations. You will perform harvesting, packing, irrigation, weed control and field maintenance in a fast-paced outdoor setting.

Language requirement includes French where applicable; candidates must be eligible to work in Canada and be prepared for physically demanding work including lifting up to 23 kg and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Apply fertilizers and spray crops to protect yields.

• Grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour and volume to fetch high price in market.
• Pack fruits and vegetables
• Pick row and orchard crops
• Plant, cultivate and irrigate crops
• Remove manually all suckers and water sprouts
• Sort fruits and vegetables
• Tie and secure plants
• Train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality
