Job summary

LaborFinders is seeking a General Laborer to assist contractors and construction crews with site tasks. This outdoor role requires physical stamina, teamwork, and strict safety attention to perform manual labor and operate basic tools on active sites.

Candidates should be able to lift heavy materials, work in varying weather, and follow OSHA PPE requirements. Previous construction experience is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Experience in construction or laborer roles is beneficial but not necessary.
• Able to lift heavy materials (often over 50 lbs) and stand/walk for long periods.
• Familiar with hand and power tools and basic equipment operation.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication are essential.
• OSHA standards and PPE awareness encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Site preparation and cleanup to maintain a safe, organized environment.
• Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment between areas.
• Assist carpenters, masons, painters, electricians, and other trades.
• Assemble and dismantle scaffolding, ladders, barricades, and temporary structures.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and small machinery safely.
• Dig trenches, backfill, mix and pour concrete, and perform basic demolition.
• Assist with traffic control and monitor construction progress.

• MaterialHandling:Load,unload,andtransportconstructionmaterials,tools,andequipmentaroundjobsites


• SupportSkilledTrades:Assistcarpenters,masons,painters,electricians,andothercraftworkerswiththeirtasks
